This site brings together my creative practice and selected collaborative projects and student work developed under my guidance as a lecturer.
Credits and copyright
Photographs, films, designs, music and texts remain subject to the rights of their respective creators and rights holders. Each project’s credits identify the contributions involved. Inclusion in this portfolio does not mean that I am the sole author. Unless authorised or permitted by an applicable legal exception, reproduction, distribution, public communication and adaptation remain with the rights holders.
The photographs and texts in Lecturing were created by Universidad de Medellín students identified in each project. My contribution was academic guidance and creative support. Teaching guidance alone does not confer co-authorship, as stated in Article 26 of Universidad de Medellín’s Intellectual Property Statute.
Reference images by other photographers are identified separately from student reinterpretations. Posters accompanying reviews identify the films discussed; their rights remain with their respective rights holders.
Permitted downloads
The site expressly permits downloading my CV and the student texts displaying a “Download essay” button. This availability supports reading and reference, but does not transfer rights or by itself grant a licence for reproduction, adaptation or commercial exploitation.
The ILO manual and any other file linked from an external page open on the responsible organisation’s website and are governed by its terms.
Other works and certificates are shown without a direct download link. This reflects the portfolio’s use policy, although no website can technically prevent every copy of a file that a browser must display. To reuse content, contact the relevant rights holder or email hola@josejcastroh.com, without prejudice to uses permitted by law.
Brands, links and corrections
Client names and brands are shown to document professional work and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement of other activity on the site. External links lead to content managed by third parties.
To correct a credit or raise an issue concerning a published work, email hola@josejcastroh.com with the project and the information to review.
